Many floats created by non-profit groups, schools, and communities are decorated with hundreds of tissue paper flowers. These can add dimension and beauty to your float, and you can construct anything from a building to a person out of the flowers, depending upon your level of expertise. Take small squares of tissue paper and twist them around the top of a pencil to make a "flower" shape. Glue the middle bottom of the flower and stick to your float surface.
