Whats the daily routine of a set designer?

6:00-9:00 AM

* Wake up and get ready for the day.

* Check email and messages.

* Eat breakfast.

* Review the day's schedule.

9:00-10:00 AM

* Meet with the director and other members of the creative team to discuss the vision for the set.

* Go over the set design plans and make any necessary adjustments.

* Start creating a scale model of the set.

10:00-12:00 PM

* Continue working on the scale model.

* Meet with the scenic artist to discuss the color scheme and other details of the set.

* Start building the set.

12:00-1:00 PM

* Break for lunch.

1:00-5:00 PM

* Continue building the set.

* Meet with the lighting designer and sound designer to discuss the technical aspects of the set.

* Make any necessary changes to the set.

* Strike the set and clear the stage for the next day's performance.

5:00-7:00 PM

* Attend the evening performance.

* Meet with the director and other members of the creative team to discuss the performance and any changes that need to be made.

* Go home and relax.
