- Open GIMP.
- Select "File" > "New" to create a new image.
- Set the width to 1024 pixels and the height to 512 pixels.
- Click "OK" to create the image.
2.) Create a Gradient.
- Select "Tools" > "Gradient."
- In the "Gradient Editor" window, select "Radial" from the "Shape" dropdown menu.
- Set the "Radial Radius" to 50%.
- Set the "Start Color" to black and the "End Color" to red.
- Click "OK" to apply the gradient.
- Select "Edit" > "Copy Visible."
3.) Create a Text Layer.
- Select "Tools" > "Text."
- Click on the image where you want to add your text.
- Type your text (for example, "Death Metal").
- Select a font and size.
- Set the text color to white.
- Click "OK" to add the text.
4.) Apply Effects to Text.
- Right-click on the text layer and select "Layer" > "Text Effects."
- In the "Text Effects" window, select the "Inner Shadow" effect.
- Set the "Shadow Color" to black.
- Set the "Shadow Offset" to 3.
- Click "OK" to apply the inner shadow.
- Select "Filter" > "Distorts" > "Ripple."
- Set the "Amount" to 10.
- Click "OK" to apply the ripple effect.
- Select "Layer" > "Flatten Image" to flatten the image and merge all layers.
5.) Save the Image:
- Select "File" > "Save As."
- Choose a location on your computer to save the image.
- Enter a name for the file.
- Select "PNG" from the "Save as type" dropdown menu.
- Click "Save" to save the image.
