Collect as many photos as you want to include in the collage. You should have a few different photos, and they should have a reoccurring theme. For example, try finding multiple photos of your family, or of you and a friend. Find photos that reflect the intention of your collage.
Lay down a piece of construction paper. The size will be dependant on how large you want to make the collage. If you intend to frame your collage, you should cut the paper to the dimensions of your frame. You will be gluing the college to this piece of paper, so color doesn't matter unless you intend to leave blank space.
Arrange your photos. You can either glue the entire photo, or cut out the important parts and only glue those. For instance, if you are making a friend collage, you might want to cut you and your friend out of the background. Variety is the key to a good collage, so mix it up as much as possible.
Glue the collage down. Once you have all of your photos glued to the paper, you can decorate your collage however you want. Common items to use are markers, glitter and construction paper to add extra things to the collage. Decorating is optional and should be minimized so as to not overpower the photos.
Buy a picture frame. It should be large enough to accommodate the dimensions of your collage. Frame stores offer inexpensive frames, and bargain bins at craft supply stores are another option. Once it has dried, place your collage into the frame, and close the backing. You now have a framed collage of your favorite photos.
