How to Do a Professional Temporary Tattoo

One of the most popular forms of self-expression today is body art. Many people sport tattoos of all shapes, colors, designs and sizes. Some individuals may wish to express themselves through body art, but are afraid of needles. Others may not be able to have permanent body art because of their occupations. In such cases, getting a professional temporary tattoo is a useful alternative option.

Instructions

    • 1

Pick out a design for your temporary tattoo. This includes the size, shape and all of the colors you plan to use. Keep the overall design simple so that the colors do not bleed together.

    • 2

Open the picture or design in a computer program, and edit its size and shape. The best program to use to manipulate photos and designs is Adobe Photoshop. Once the picture is the right size, save it to your My Pictures folder.

    • 3

Insert temporary tattoo paper in your printer, and print the design.

    • 4

Apply the tattoo paper to the area where you want the tattoo. Place the paper with the design down against the skin. Moisten the tattoo paper over the area of the design.

    • 5

Pull the temporary tattoo paper off. There should be an outline of the tattoo on your skin.

    • 6

Fill the outline of the tattoo using the paintbrushes and henna ink.
