Access an online photo editing application (See Resources for a list of high digital quality editing applications online).
Upload the photo you want to change. Click the "Browse" tab when the photo editing application opens. Retrieve the photo from your computer's hard drive and click "Open" to load the photo into the editing application.
Click on the Effects tab that will be found in the editing tabs at the top of the navigation screen or in the left pane of the screen. (The navigation tabs will vary depending on the editing application you are using.)
Select the photo effect you want to add to the photo. Click on the effect, and it will be temporarily applied to the photo. If you like the applied effect, click "OK" or "Apply."
Save the changed effects to the picture. Click the "Save" option once you have changed all of the desired effects. You will then be prompted to download and store the changed photo to your computer's hard drive.
