When you are creating ads, brochures, websites or other items requiring the use of a graphics program to blend images and text into a single document, you will want ensure that the text you use will work well when placed on the background you intend to use for it. Fortunately, if you are using a program like Photoshop Elements you can quickly compare different types and colors for the text to determine how well they contrast with the background. If you don’t happen to have Photoshop Elements, you can also do this using the freeware program GIMP, although the step used will differ.
