Plan out your graffiti art with pencil and paper. Start by writing the text to be transformed into black book style across the page. Use capital letters and space the letters apart.
Angle some or all of the letters. In black book style, the letters are not typically all perfectly vertical, but rather have a little lean to them.
Sharpen the rounded letters, giving them points and edges.
Thicken the letters. As the letters "swell" they'll fill up the space between them. Let them swell to the point of overlapping, so that one letter overlaps its neighbor, covering a part of the letter.
Extend the ends of letters, creating arrows on the ends which is typical of black book style graffiti. These extensions can go in the same direction as the letter or can bend off sharply or with curves. Add in many arrow extensions, going off in all directions, so that the arrows create a wild halo around the text.
Add a dark, continuous border around the text with arrows, tying the text together into a single work of art.
