How to Design a Menu on Microsoft Word

Menus are important for restaurants, giving customers a simple way to scan their choices, decide what they want and find out how much it'll all cost. Designing a menu can be tricky because you have to consider so many elements. A menu should be informative but simple and easy to understand and pleasing to the eye. Microsoft Word has tools that can help you create a menu for any restaurant.

Open Microsoft Word. Click "File" then "New."

You can change the font, color, background and most of the overall layout (you cannot change the size of the menu, which will be 9 by 12 unless your printer can produce larger documents).
