Graphic designers think of web sites as interactive magazines. They create a master design plan for site, defining the overall look and feel. Each page uses a variety of type, photos, illustration, color and texture while staying true to the master design plan. Designers must create web pages that are easy to use and understand. Web designers use programs such as Dreamweaver and Flash, but many of the individual graphic elements are created in Photoshop and Illustrator.
