Cut a 2-by=2-foot piece of 1/4-inch thick plywood, and add a saw-tooth hanger on the back of the piece in the center, at the top.
Choose one of the many Woodsies fluorescent shapes packs, such as Woodsies Colored Basic Shapes, boasting squares, rectangles, triangles circles and ovals; Woodsies Assorted Colored Wood Hearts; or Woodsies Party Shapes, featuring stars, flower petals, tear drops and hearts; and lay them out on the board, overlapping on occasion.
Glue the pieces onto the board, using a wood or craft glue, once you know where you want to place them.
Allow to dry.
Seal the entire piece with a clear, spray-on varnish, and allow it to dry. Hang it and enjoy.
Choose a theme for your 3-D wall art from the Woodsies 3-D packs, such as Woodsies Jungle Rumble pack, featuring lions, giraffes and more; Woodsies Creepy Crawlies pack, boasting insects, spiders and worms; Woodsies Flower Bed Fantasy, featuring flowers, frogs, dragonflies and butterflies; or Woodsies Project Pack On the Go, encompassing cars, trains and planes.
Paint your pieces using wood or acrylic craft paint, in a color of your choosing.
Glue the shapes together to form each character--such as a lion or a car--using a wood or craft glue, and allow them to dry.
Varnish them with a spray-on clear wood varnish, to seal the paint.
Attach them to the wall using small, removable, adhesive picture hanging strips, available at home improvement stores.
Cut out a 2-foot in diameter circle or a 2-foot by 2-foot square from a ¼-inch piece of plywood.
Add a saw-tooth hanger on the back of the piece in the center, at the top.
Paint the piece of plywood black, white or gray, using wood or acrylic paint.
Glue Woodsies Colored Craft Sticks, next to each other on the board, fat side down.
Stager the sticks so that two sticks that are next to each other do not start and stop at the same points. You can use one or two colors to match your décor or a plethora of colors for a bold, eclectic design. (Ref 1)
Allow the sticks to hang off the wood backing by at least an inch, as you work.
Allow to dry.
Spray on a clear varnish, and allow to dry.
Hang and enjoy.
