How to Use a Standard Color Negative in the DTR Process
Using a standard color negative in the DTR process is similar to developing a photo without the DTR composite. The main difference is that when developing a DTR photo, you need to use a DTR coating before transferring the image to your media, whether it is video or photo. When applying the coating, take care to ensure that the room stays dark and you are not interrupted. When possible, choose a room that has two doors so that you can leave and enter the room without letting light into your photo editing room.
