Make a preserving powder from four parts borax and one part silica gel. Place this mixture in the bottom of a small box.

Lay your flowers in the cardboard box. Sprinkle borax gently onto the petals.

Bury your flowers in the borax. Make sure that there are no air gaps.

Seal the box with tape. Place it somewhere it will not be disturbed for 10 days.

After 10 days, remove the borax from the flowers. Pick up the flowers and gently dust off any remaining Borax with a delicate brush.
