How do you create a cadenza on Sibelius?

1. Open the Sibelius score on which you want to create a cadenza.

2. Click the Plus Sign button to the left of the Measure Number drop-down menu to create a new measure.

3. Select the Cadenza Tool .

4. Click to position the cursor where you want the cadenza to begin.

5. Double-click the Cadenza Stem button to add the cadenza.

6. Enter a name for the cadenza in the Chord Symbol Editor .

7. Click the Cadenza Stem button to change the stem of the notes in the cadenza.

8. Enter the notes of the cadenza into the score using the Note Entry Tool .

9. When you are finished with the cadenza, click the Select Tool .
