Where did David Lanz get the inspiration for Dream?

The song "Dream," from David Lanz's album Cristofori's Dream, was inspired by the composer's own experience of overcoming writer's block. Lanz had just finished recording his album Heartsounds when he found himself unable to write any new music. He spent several days practicing playing various instruments instead of composing new songs.

One night, he had a dream in which he was playing the piano, surrounded by nature and wildlife. In the dream, he felt a deep sense of peace and inspiration, and he was able to compose the music that would become the song "Dream."
