* Light machine oil (such as Singer Sewing Machine Oil)
* Oil can with a long, thin spout
* Small flashlight
* Clean cloth
Instructions:
1. Turn off the organ and unplug it from the power outlet.
2. Remove the oil caps. There are five oil caps located on the back of the organ. They are typically red or black plastic caps.
3. Use the flashlight to locate the oil holes. Each oil hole is located near the base of a bearing assembly.
4. Apply a few drops of oil to each oil hole. Be careful not to over-oil the bearings.
5. Replace the oil caps.
6. Plug the organ back in and turn it on.
Additional tips:
* If the organ has not been oiled in a long time, you may need to oil it more frequently at first. Once the bearings are properly lubricated, you can oil the organ less often.
* If you spill oil on the organ, wipe it up immediately with a clean cloth.
* Keep the oil and your tools away from children and pets.
Regularly oiling your Hammond T422 organ will help it to run smoothly and extend its lifespan.
