Remove the bit from the power drill and place the drill face up in between two pieces of wood.
Place the other two pieces of wood across each end of the first two pieces. This will form an H frame.
Nail the end pieces of wood into the pieces of wood holding the drill in place.
Add a wood block in the middle of the two pieces of wood where the drill is. Push the wood block up to the base of the drill and nail it in place. This will keep the drill from slipping and form the compartment for the drill to sit in.
Lock the drill's trigger to the "On" position and plug it into an extension cord with a power switch on it.
Drill a pilot hole through the center of a length of wood. This wood should be the same length as the canvas spinner you intend to place on it.
Hammer in a T-nut and run a bolt through the hole.
Turn the board over and screw a canvas frame no longer than the length of the board onto the center of the board. This will form the spinner.
Use a clamp to clamp the bolt to the drill chuck.
Place the assembly in a cardboard box that will accommodate the size of the spinner assembly.
Flip the switch on the extension cord when you want to turn the unit on. You can now start adding paint to the spinner.
