What were cahuilla Indians clothes made from?

The Cahuilla people used a variety of materials to make clothing, including plant fibers, animal skins, and feathers. Bark, leaves, and even human hair were also used. The type of material used depended on the climate, the availability of materials, and the person's social status. For everyday wear, Cahuilla men typically wore breechcloths made from deerskin or rabbit skin. Women usually wore knee-length skirts made from plant fibers or animal skin. Both men and women wore moccasins or sandals made from animal skin. For special occasions, Cahuilla people might wear more elaborate clothing decorated with beads, feathers, or paint.
