How do you use cork grease?

To use cork grease:

1. Clean the tenon and the cork surface of the instrument with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris.

2. Apply a thin and even layer of cork grease to the cork surface using your fingers or a small brush. Avoid over-greasing, as this can affect the instrument's sound quality.

3. Gently insert the tenon into the corked joint and twist the instrument slightly to distribute the grease evenly. If the joint seems tight, you can turn the instrument a bit back until it becomes free-moving again.

4. Play the instrument for a few minutes to allow the grease to distribute further and adjust the fit as necessary.

Remember, the amount of grease required may vary depending on the instrument and the cork's condition, so it's always better to start with a small amount and add more if needed.
