What do you with the wood wedges that come stretched artists know they are supposed to go into corner slots but seem fit?

The wood wedges are used to secure the stretched artist's canvas in place. They should be inserted into the corner slots of the canvas frame. Gently tap the wedges into place with a hammer until the canvas is taut and secure.
