Is there a substitute for cork grease?

1. Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum jelly is a thick, oily substance often used to moisturize dry skin. It is also a good substitute for cork grease because it is slick and will help the cork slide easily into the bottle.

2. Vegetable Oil

Vegetable oil, such as olive oil or canola oil, can also be used to grease corks. It is not as thick as petroleum jelly, so you may need to use a little more of it.

3. Canola Oil

4. Baby Oil

5. Lip Balm

6. Soap

7. Graphite Powder

8. Dry Lubricant Spray
