Adriana Lima is a Brazilian supermodel. She is best known as a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2000 and as a spokesmodel for Maybelline since 2003. She was named "the world's most valuable Victoria's Secret Angel" by Forbes in 2017.
Lima was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. She began modeling at the age of 15 and won the Ford Models Supermodel of the World competition in 1996. She has since appeared on the covers of numerous magazines, including Vogue, GQ, and Harper's Bazaar. She has also walked the runway for many top fashion designers, including Versace, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton.
In addition to her modeling career, Lima has also appeared in several films and television shows. She had a small role in the 2001 film The Devil Wears Prada and she appeared as herself in the 2018 film Ocean's 8. She has also hosted several television shows, including The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and America's Next Top Model.
Lima is married to Serbian NBA player Marko Jarić. They have two daughters together.
